The transport landscape is making a significant change over the next few years. Â In fact, by the year 2035 it’s highly likely we won’t be seeing any new petrol driven scooters being manufactured for the Australian market, as electric and maybe even hydrogen fuelled machines become the norm.
With these changes we decided to modernise our logo. Â While our new logo maintains a lot of features of the our original logo, the new green highlights reflects our future as we collectively move toward green transport alternatives. Â We really like it and we hope you do too.
Now, while we are all aware of the shift in the market, it’s not time to panic just yet.  Fuel efficient petrol driven scooters  are still an affordable, low emission form of transport for the next few years.  In fact with the recent Euro 5 emission rules, we have never seen more energy efficient petrol scooters ever!
A typical modern 125cc scooter can use as little as 2 litres of fuel to travel 100 kilometres. Â This is an amazing figure, especially when compared to cars, and makes the one car, one scooter family a great proposition for many households.
In fact, we have been noticing recently that many manufacturers are investing in creating greater power from smaller capacity engines in an attempt to produce lower emissions and still provide excellent performance. Â A great example is the Aprilia SRGT125 scooter that has the same output as most 200cc scooters of a few years ago.
We are slowly seeing new electric scooters come onto the market. Â We have also recognised the emergence of electric micro mobility line e-scooters and now have a range of quality options for you to consider.
So, let’s look forward to transitioning to more fuel efficient petrol and electric machines and play our part in decarbonising the planet.
